For many of you, the war in
Gaza continues
to be of great concern. Pat Leahan, of the Las Vegas Peace and Justice Center, did a radio show about Gaza last Saturday, and Wesam '09, Ghassan '09, and
Arielle '08 were all in the studio. Sami '08 called in and they read a letter
from Mia Tamarin '08. All of the UWC students and alumni were very articulate and
the show has received many calls thanking them for sharing their perspective.
As your remember the College is a place of disparate opinions, and we encourage students and alumni to engage in conversation on issues of great importance.
